Bandits Ambush Ganduje’s Convoy, Injure Security Aides

Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, narrowly escaped death as bandits attacked his convoy on their way back from Zamfara State.

NewsmakersNG learnt that three security personnel attached to the governor’s convoy sustained varying degrees of injuries.

Ganduje had joined other governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress and leadership of the party to officially receive the Zamfara State Governor, Bello Mattawale, who recently dumped the Peoples Democratic Party.

Kano State Commissioner for Information, Muhammad Garba, confirmed the incident.
