Babcock University Reacts as Leaked Sex Tape of Students Go Viral

Ololade Adeyanju/

The management of Babcock University has reacted to the leaked video of two students of the institution having sex.

The video which surfaced on social media platforms yesterday and had gone viral shows a male and female students of the missionary school having sex in what appears to be a clinic.

The video has since dominated the conversation on Twitter, where it is trending under various hashtags such as #babcock #miakhalifa and #unilag.

The university in a statement today confirmed that the two were indeed students of the institution.

The statement signed by its Director of Communication and Marketing, Joshua Suleiman, however claims the act was not committed at the university’s clinic as being insinuated but at a hospital in Abeokuta, Ogun State, where the male student was on admission at the time.

According to the statement, the boy was expelled from the university in February over certain misconducts, including drug addiction, following which he was taken to the hospital for rehabilitation.

The girl, a 300 level student of Accounting, had also been expelled after the video became public, the statement adds.

The girl reportedly confessed that the act took place in April when she visited the boy in the hospital during school vacation.
