Umueke Tagbo, the late friend of the star artiste David Adeleke (aka Davido) died of suffocation.
This was revealed by the postmortem examination conducted on the deceased.
The Lagos State acting Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, confirmed the autopsy at a press conference on Wednesday.
The police boss said Davido had been invited for further questioning over the incident.
He further disclosed that Tagbo allegedly took 40 shots of Tequila at Shasha Bar in Lekki
He said the deceased was abandoned in his car at the hospital by Davido’s driver and two of his friends.
Edgal explained that Davido told the police he only knew of Tagbo’s demise while he was at DNA night club, in Victoria Island, but preliminary investigation has revealed otherwise.
