The daughter of a Nigerian police officer has been crowned as Miss Africa at the Miss Tourism Universe 2018 held in Beirut, Lebanon.
The Nigerian flag was displayed and hailed on the world stage as the arresting beauty of Daniella Peace Iyamah, a Microbiology student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) won the crown.
Twenty-year-old Daniella is the daughter of ACP Daniel Iyamah who is serving at the Zone II Police Command Headquarters in Lagos.
Also crowned at the event is a 24-year-old Venezuelan beauty, Miss Ana Caceres, who emerged as Miss Tourism 2018.
The event was held at the Beirut Metropolitan Palace Hotel in Beirut, Lebanon on Monday with 32 participants from various countries.
The Nigerian beauty, who is expected back in the country on Saturday, was handled by her agents – Dave Green Models International.
The Miss Tourism Universe 2018 pageant started its evaluation cycle on September 8, with the grand finale on September 24 under an impressive show developed at the Beirut Metropolitan Palace Hotel.
