Armed Boys Kill 10, Injure 23 in Brazilian School Massacre

Ten people were killed today and 23 others injured as two armed boys went on a shooting spree at a school in Suzano, Sao Paulo, Brazil today.

Police authorities have identified the bandits as Guilherme Taucci Monteiro, 17, and Luiz Henrique de Castro, 25.

The boys who were identified as ex-students of Escola Raul Brazil that is considered as one of the best schools in Brazil invaded the public college on the outskirts of the city of Sao Paulo at the early hours and shot four students, two teachers and two school coordinators to death before they turned the gun on themselves.

They also killed a businessman outside the school before embarking on the shooting spree.

They were suspected to be members of a Mafia group.

The names of the victims have not been released as at the time this story was written by NewsmakersNG.

The governor of São Paulo, Joao Doria, said: “It is painful to see such a situation in this modern day. We will investigate and see that such will not repeat itself again. My condolences to the families that lost their loved ones in the massacre.”
