Amid controversy on the actual winner of yesterday’s House of Representatives ticket for Lagos Island/Eti Osa Constituency, a result has emerged with Oba Riliwanu Akiolu’s son as the winner.
On the result sheet, Prince Kayode Akiolu scored 5369 votes to lead seven other aspirants.
Earlier, there were protests from other contestants over the delay in the release of the results since yesterday.
Some of the protesters believed that Mr Bolaji Pitan, a brother of former Commissioner for Health in Lagos, Dr Leke Pitan, won the primary election.
