Another Ritual Killers’ Den Uncovered in Lagos

Matilda Omonaiye/

Another suspected den of ritual killers has been uncovered in Lagos, along the same highway where one was found on Tuesday.

The latest discovery was made at Ile-Zik, along the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway, while the earlier one two days ago was a dungeon in Abule Egba end of the expressway.

Newsmakers learnt that a mob attempted to lynch a suspect caught at the scene but he was rescued by security operatives, who were coincidentally patrolling the area.

Policemen managed to rescue a fourth victim before he was killed by the mob.

Spokesman for the police in Lagos, ASP Olarinde Famous-Cole was not available for comment on the incident.

Policemen mounted all-night guard at the scene.
