The Lagos Lagoon has witnessed yet another suicide.
In what has been a recurring decimal, an unidentified man reportedly jumped into the lagoon from the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge this afternoon.
NewsmakersNG learnt that officials of the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA), Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the Marine Police and other relevant agencies are at the scene.
A medical doctor at Mount Sinai Hospital in Surulere, Dr Allwell Orji, recently committed suicide by jumping into the lagoon after he asked his driver to stop on the bridge.
