Another 16-year-old Girl Killed in Akinyele Area of Ibadan

Few days after the Oyo State Police Command announced the arrest of two alleged masterminds of the serial killings in Akinyele local government area of the state, another victim has been murdered in the same area.

NewsmakersNG learnt that the latest victim was a 16-year-old girl, identified simply as Toke.

She was reportedly killed yesterday by unknown assailants at Onikoko area, along Ibadan/Oyo expressway, in Akinyele local government.

Her corpse was reportedly found today by some residents where it was dumped.

The state police public relations officer, Olugbenga Fadeyi, who confirmed the incident, said it was a suspected murder case.

He added that detectives were on the trail of the perpetrators.
