Lagos State governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode appears to have been ambushed ahead of the governorship primaries of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday.
Today, at the Parliamentary meeting, held at the Lagos State House of Assembly Complex, Alausa, Ikeja, lawmakers unanimously resolved to support the position of the Leadership of APC and the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) in Lagos State on the endorsement of Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the APC Gubernatorial candidate in the 2019 election.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the meeting was attended by 36 out of the 40 members in the House of Assembly.
