Segun Atanda/

Two sons of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, will battle each other for the Afijio/Oyo East/Oyo West/Atiba West Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives in the 2019 election, says a Newspeak report.

Prince Akeem Adeyemi (Skimeh) and Prince Bayo Adeyemi (D-Guv) both secured the tickets of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) respectively.

Skimeh currently occupies the seat. At 31 in 2007, he was the chairman of Atiba Local Government Area of the state. His brother, D-Guv, was secretary of Oyo West Local Government in 2003, when he was 26.
