The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone XI comprising Ondo, Osun and Oyo States, Leye Oyebade mni, led a 10km walk for fitness exercise organised by Inspiration 100.5 FM Ibadan on Saturday.

The 3rd edition of the ‘walk for fitness’ commenced about 6.45am from the radio station at Osuntokun, Bodija Housing Estate through Bodija Market en route to Sango, Mokola and terminated at Cocoa House, Dugbe at 9.30am.

The AIG who was the lead walker for the 3rd edition stressed the importance of exercise for the enhancement of physical and mental fitness of an individual, and that regular exercise could help the development of the body and soul.

The AIG lauded the efforts of the management of Inspiration FM in promoting individual wellbeing through periodic fitness walk. He, therefore, promised to continue to partner and support the media in general and Inspiration FM in particular.

Other participants in the fitness walk were the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Shina Olukolu who was represented by the OC Sports, Oyo State Police Command, SP Segun Famuyiwa, the Oyo State Honourable Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Barr Abayomi Oke, the GM Inspiration FM Ibadan,  Mrs Olufunmilayo Olasugba and other important personalities.
