Two daughters of a popular school proprietor in Ibadan, late Chief Emiola Adesina, including one who arrived Nigeria from the United States for their late dad’s burial, have been kidnapped.

The late Adesina was the founder of one of the oldest private schools in Oyo State, Subuola Memorial Nursery and Primary School in Agodi GRA, Ibadan.

The two sisters, Mrs Biola Olukotun and Mrs Bola Adepoju, were reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen on their way to their late father’s farm along Ife road, Ibadan, yesterday.

NewsmakersNG learnt that the kidnappers had already contacted the family to demand N100million ransom.

Sources told NewsmakersNG that the family suspects that an insider who knew the movement of the victims masterminded the crime.

They were, however, optimistic that the two sisters would soon regain their freedom as the family had commenced negotiations with the kidnappers.

The late Chief Adesina, who was buried a week ago, was a Director of Sports in the defunct Western Region.
