Leke Adeboye, son of the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has slammed some pastors for preaching after his father’s sermon on Thanksgiving Sunday.
By convention, every first service of the month is designed as Thanksgiving Sunday in the RCCG and pastors across the nation usually connect their parishes with the national headquarters where Adeboye delivers the sermon.
But after the cleric’s had concluded his sermon, some pastors reportedly went ahead to deliver their own messages, which seemed to have provoked Leke.
“Why would you preach another sermon after Daddy GO has just finished preaching. You’re not a son. You’re a goat, sir. Next thanksgiving service, just do altar call, then thanksgiving,” Leke wrote in a now-deleted social media post.
