Some passengers on the Abuja-Kaduna train, who were abducted by terrorists on March 28, may have regained their freedom.
Newsexpressng reports that a relation of some of the abducted victims, identified as Yusuf Atta, disclosed this on a WhatsApp group today.
“Alhamdulillah my mum and elder sister have just been released at the moment in a medical facility receiving medication in Kaduna. Thank you for your prayers,” Atta reportedly wrote.
It remains unclear if all the over 60 passengers in captivity have regained their freedom and also if ransom was paid to secure their release.
