In a move to bolster public safety, the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), Zone 2, Adegoke Fayoade, led a strategic security tour of the Sango Ota axis ahead of the Easter celebrations, promising sustained protection for residents and businesses.

Accompanied by the Area Commander, ACP Sola Oladele, the AIG commended the Sango Ota Police Command for its unwavering commitment to law and order. Fayoade applauded ACP Oladele and her team for their proactive approach to community policing and the visible results in crime prevention across the area.

Addressing stakeholders and members of the public during the visit, AIG Fayoade stressed the importance of collaboration between security operatives and the community.

He said, “The Police are fully committed to securing lives and property, but security is a shared responsibility. We urge citizens to remain alert and report any suspicious activities promptly.”
