The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the postponement of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration.

The registration, which was initially scheduled to commence on Monday, February 2, 2025, has been rescheduled to start on Monday, February 9, 2025.

This decision was made to allow for the completion of critical updates to the registration platform, ensuring a smoother and more efficient process for all applicants.

JAMB’s Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, emphasised that the board is committed to providing a seamless registration experience and that the additional time will be used to finalise all necessary enhancements to the system.

He also advised prospective candidates to utilise the extra week to prepare all required documentation and to stay updated through JAMB’s official channels for further information.

Candidates are reminded to adhere strictly to the guidelines provided by JAMB and to avoid any form of malpractice during the registration and examination processes.

The board reiterates its dedication to maintaining the integrity of the UTME and ensuring equal opportunities for all applicants.

For more details and updates, candidates are encouraged to visit JAMB’s official website or contact their support services directly.
