The potential victim of the alleged conspiracy by former deputy Senate president, Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice, to traffic a child to the UK for organ harvesting has been identified as a homeless 15 year-old-boy.
The alleged victim, who has not been named, was reportedly brought to the UK by the Ekweremadus off the streets of Lagos.
The couple appeared at Uxbridge Magistrate Court today on charges relating to the conspiracy of human trafficking for organ harvesting.
They were denied bail and remanded in custody. The case was adjourned to July 7.
