Five Nigerian women, including a green energy entrepreneur, Ifeyinwa Nwabueze, have been selected by the United States Mission in Abuja for a TechWomen Exchange Program in the U.S., next month.

According to a statement from the United States Mission in Nigeria, Ifeyinwa Nwabueze is a green energy entrepreneur based in Abuja and originally from Anambra state.


The Mission stated: “Ifeyinwa is passionate about renewable energy for rural communities, and she will be expanding her research on rural electrification via micro grid integration of biogas and solar energy. In addition to mentorship from American tech leaders, she looks forward to engaging with fellow women participants from Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Middle East.”
