The Lagos State Police Command has arrested two more students of Dowen College, Lekki, for their alleged involvement in the torture and eventual death of a 12-year-old Sylvester Oromoni.

The development brings the total number of students in police custody to five.

NewsmakersNG learnt that three house masters in charge of the school’s male dormitory have also been arrested and detained.

Police said they have obtained a court order to detain the students for 21 days at the juvenile centre.

Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, had earlier disclosed that the command has launched a full-scale probe into the circumstances culminating in the death of Oromoni on November 30, 2021.
