The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported a new single-day record of confirmed COVID-19 cases.
The agency confirmed 1,354 new cases across 20 states and the federal capital territory yesterday, with Lagos recording 712 infections — its highest daily count ever.
One person was confirmed to have died of COVID-19 complications yesterday.
