As United States President Donald Trump was losing his narrow lead in Pennsylvania, some of his armed supporters were reportedly intercepted by the police on their way to attack a vote counting centre.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the armed gang was busted after officers were tipped off.
Trump had failed in his attempt to stop the counting of ballots in the state with a lawsuit.
Reacting in a statement issued today, Gov. Tom Wolf says: “The planned attacks on our elections this morning are undemocratic and all elected officials must denounce them.
“Pennsylvania will be prepared to protect our election workers and our votes.”
