The American Secret Service has stepped up protection for Democratic presidential candidate, Joe Biden, who is most likely to assume office as the 46th President of the United States following his victories in Pennsylvania and Georgia that is sure to take him across the 270 threshold needed to emerge as President.
Same step has been taken towards Kamala Harris who is looking good to be declared as the first ever female Vice President of the U.S.
NewsmakersNG learnt from security sources in the U.S. that the Secret Service also created a national Defense space over Wilmington, Delaware, which is now being patrolled by fighter jets.
Aviation authorities also confirmed that Biden’s house in Wilmington has been marked as a restricted area for flights, along with one other location in the city. The area has been designated as “National Defense Airspace”.
