Nigerians in Brazil have joined fellow citizens across the world to stage a protest against police brutality in Nigeria.

Nigerian immigrants took to the streets of Sao Paulo in large number with Nigerian flag, placards and all sorts of inscriptions supporting the campaign tagged #EndSARS as they asked for a better Nigeria where all can live in peace.

The protesters declared both moral and financial supports for the Nigerian youths who have taken the task upon themselves demanding for a better and peaceful Nigeria.

“We condemn the killings in Lekki and in every other part of Nigeria. We beg for a better Nigeria,” a protester named Benjamin told NewsmakersNG.

According to the protesters, the demonstration which actually started on October 19 in Sao Paulo would be sustained till their dreams are fulfilled in the country.

“Nigeria is a blessed nation, a country where we have everything but nothing works. We in Brazil will continue to make our impacts visible till a progressive and peaceful Nigeria is attained,” says Ethan Nicholas Aigbokhan, a member of the Nigerian Community in Brazil.

“We are ready to give all it takes to make Nigeria a conducive place to live again. We in Brazil will never relax till our positive ends are met, Nigerians living in Brazil are committed to that,” Prince James .I. Osunde told NewsmakersNG.

Prominent figures among the protesters are Mr Afam Maduanusi aka Okotieh, Mr Babatunde Salami aka Apunky, Comrade Titilope Fadeyi, Alhaji Akeem Apena, and Comrade Odunsola Thompson.

They vowed to continue the struggle until positivity is achieved in Nigeria.
