Suspected Fulani militias reportedly invaded Bari town in Logo local government area of Kano State yesterday night.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the attackers ransacked the predominantly Christian community injuring many residents.
They also reportedly invaded the residence of the Anglican bishop, Rt Revd Idris Ado Zubairu, abducting his wife, Saratu and the diocesan seccretary, identified simply as Deborah.
Reports say the attackers also stole money and livestock from the residents.
They have also demanded an undisclosed amount as ransom for the abducted victims.
