2019 CHRISTMAS: WE HAVE REASONS TO THANK GOD
Senator Mohammed Kola Balogun has charged the people of Oyo South Senatorial district and Oyo State in general to be grateful to God for the gift of life and the grace to finally heave sighs of relief in the state.
According to a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media, Rotimi Johnson, the Senator believes both residents and people of Oyo state who can think deeply would know that there has been great improvements in our lives and environments.
The Senator’s statement reads, “last year, we told you by this time things will be better and we are grateful to God that some of our efforts are yielding good results and our Governor has been God’s messenger of good tidings indeed.
“Though we know we have a long way to go as a people, but we are grateful to God we are among the living and now on the right path as a truly pacesetter state.”
“At this year’s yelutide, our thanksgiving should be more than requests and we should remember that Christmas is a season to demonstrate love and remember the less privileged because love is the central message of the season,” the statement concludes.
