Protesting non-academic staff members of the University of Ibadan early Wednesday locked down the school’s main gate.

In an interview with a Tree Club Press correspondent, the Chairman of SSANU (UI Branch) and NASU (UI Branch), said that the lockdown was orchestrated by the Deputy Registrar of the University of Ibadan who issued a query to the staff working in his office for taking part in the ongoing protest.

They vowed to continue with the protest till Friday

The protesting members later moved down to the office of the Deputy Registrar.
