DR Congo’s Sports Minister, Huges Ngouelondele, was reportedly attacked by fans upon his arrival in the country, following the national football team’s ouster from the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2019.
The Central Africa giant were knocked out of the competition in the round of 16 through penalties by newcomers, Madagascar.
In an online video, the sports minister is seen being shielded by some unidentified men as he struggled to free himself from the angry fans.
