The French Cup final between Paris Saint-Germain and Rennes on Saturday went into extra time after finishing 2-2 at the end of 90 minutes at the Stade de France.

A week after wrapping up the Ligue 1 title, PSG looked to have the domestic double in the bag as they went 2-0 up inside the first 21 minutes through goals from Dani Alves and the returning Neymar.

However, a Presnel Kimpembe own goal gave Rennes hope just before half-time, and Mozambican defender Edson Mexer headed in their equaliser in the 66th minute.

Rennes have not won a major trophy since they last lifted the French Cup in 197
