A Nigerian international model, Ayodeji Timothy Adesiyan aka Arthur Naldo, is making strong statements in Brazil.

The Ile-Ife, Osun State-born model, singer, dancer and actor staged a very ethnically rich performance at Sao Paulo Modeling and Fashion Parade Avenue, where he displayed exclusive African attires alongside African-Brazilian international models.

The September 25 event was organized to boost African culture and fashion in Brazil.

Yoruba culture took centre stage at the event with many traditional attires on parade in the midst of African, Brazilian and American designers.

The multi-talented model who parades for Gabby Rigor Outfit, Sao Paulo, Brazil, made Nigeria and its fashion proud as he drew rounds of applause from the audience while strutting on stage with African attires and a body covered with ornamental designs from his roots.

A graduate of Namib Pro Models, Sao Paulo, Brazil, Arthur Naldo dictated the pace with charismatic choreographic steps, that drew memories of an accomplished Nigerian model, Richard Mofe-Damijo, in years gone by, while making his Desfliles through the night of September 25.

He told NewsmakersNG that Brazil is a raw ground for African models, and designers to explore in the coming years.

According to SOLLES, PRODUÇÕES, the name behind the ornamental body designs, Arthur Naldo has demonstrated his talent on several parades and the institution counts on him for further opportunities.

Besides the modelling career, Arthur Naldo has also featured in music and dramatic shows.

Arthur Naldo, in an interview with NewsmakersNG, appealed to every Nigerian designer to start looking towards the Latin American fashion institution and derive the originality in the Latin American artistic environment.

According to the organisers, Brazil that is one of the leading modelling institution responsible for feeding the fashion industries with classic models is also in need of creative minds to instil Africanism in the Afro-Brazilian scenario.

One of the sponsors spoke of Expressionism Arts, fashion and designs, revealing that the next project would come up at Salvador Bahia in December.
