Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye, who is facing trial for alleged gun-running, has been granted the bail.
Justice Nasir Ajana of a Lokoja High Court today granted Melaye bail on health grounds.
Counsel to Melaye, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), had argued that the continued incarceration of his client would jeopardise his health condition.
He also said that there was nothing to show that the applicant would jump bail.
The judge therefore admitted Melaye to bail, with one surety for N10m.
