Newly appointed Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, 9 Brigade Nigerian Army, Major Augustine Kolawole Bello, has assumed duty.
He took over from Major Kehinde Abolade who was posted to the 8 Brigade Sokoto State.
Major Bello is a seasoned army officer who had served in various military capacity within and outside Nigeria.
Since his commission, the senior officer has attended relevant courses and seminars, within and abroad, commensurate to his rank. He has held several appointments, including Officer Commanding in operation Lafia Dole; Military lnformation Officer in UN missions; Assistant Director in various Nigerian Army Brigades and Corps HQs. He was the Assistant Director Army Public Relations HQ Infantry Corps Centre, Jaji Military Cantonment before his appointment as the Assistant Director Army Public Relations 9 Brigade Nigerian Army. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.
He has been described as eloquent, vibrant, social, proactive professional.
