Total number of COVID-19 cases in the country rose to 25,133 today, as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 566 new infections.
The centre said a total of 573 patients have also died from the disease, including eight today.
9,402 patients have however recovered from the disease, NCDC further disclosed.
Figures released by the centre this evening show that Lagos State has the highest number of new infections with 166 cases, followed by Oyo and Delta with 66 and 53 cases respectively.
