Nigeria yesterday recorded 571 new COVID-19 cases, taking the tally to 32,558.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) also said 16 COVID-19 related deaths were recorded same day, raising the fatality figure to 740.
However, 13,447 people have recovered from disease and discharged from isolation centres across the country.
Lagos and Ebonyi States recorded the highest numbers of new cases with 152 and 108 respectively.
