Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has issued an angry and explicit public rebuttal to claims by a teenage girl identifying herself as Anu Adeleke, insisting that multiple DNA tests have already proven he is not her father and warning that he will take action if the matter continues.
In a series of posts on X on Thursday, Davido said he had submitted to DNA testing on several occasions and accused the girl’s mother of persistently pursuing a false claim despite repeated negative results.
“After 5 DNA test … she dey crase,” the singer wrote. “Her and her mom better leave me the fuck alone and go find her papa.”
Davido claimed he had never had any relationship with the girl’s mother beyond the DNA testing process and said he had cooperated extensively to put the matter to rest.
“Never met the bitch … except when went for the DNA,” he wrote. “Very stupid behaviour. I will soon treat their FK … 5 fucking hospitals just to be clear.”
According to the singer, the tests were conducted across multiple medical facilities, with both parties selecting hospitals independently.
“Yes I chose 3 hospitals and they chose their own two hospitals,” he said. “All came out negative. This is the last time I’m speaking on this nonsense.”
He further alleged wrongdoing by the girl’s mother and warned that further action could follow.
“The mom needs to go to jail … I don’t blame the poor girl,” Davido added. “When we strike make nobody beg us ooo ok.”
Davido’s outburst followed the circulation of a lengthy New Year post dated January 15, 2026, in which a teenage girl using the Instagram handle anuadeleke001 publicly appealed to the singer to submit to a DNA test, saying she wanted clarity about her identity as she transitioned into her teenage years.
“I am respectfully asking Mr David Adeleke, singer @davido, for a DNA test to establish my identity,” the girl wrote. “This test is between my dad and I. It is something I want. It is something that’s the right thing to do.”
In the emotional post, the teenager said she authored the message herself without assistance and explained that she felt compelled to speak out as she grew older.
“Today I drafted a letter I wrote from the depth of my heart, not with help from my relatives. As I grow older I want to establish my identity,” she said.
She alleged that bearing the Adeleke surname subjected her to bullying from a young age.
“I was bullied in school since I was 6-years-old and cried home daily. Other students laughed at me when I told them my father was Mr David Adeleke,” the post read.
According to her account, the experience led to mental health challenges that required professional support.
“I went through a lot of mental anguish and visited a medical professional to protect my mental health. It was a sad challenging time in my life,” she wrote.
The teenager credited her upbringing to her mother and grandmother, saying they instilled discipline and strong values, and added that she continued to excel academically despite the challenges.
“Despite the challenges, I still excelled to the top of the class and became the class prefect,” she said, noting that some of her report cards had previously been shared online.
She said she had also sent the DNA request privately to Davido and thanked Nigerians who she claimed had supported her emotionally over the years.
“This DNA test is the right thing to do for me,” she wrote, signing off as Anu Adeleke and listing Ibadan, Nigeria, as her location.
Davido’s response directly contradicts the claim that no DNA testing has taken place, with the singer asserting that the issue has already been conclusively settled through repeated medical examinations.
As of the time of reporting, no independent medical documents have been publicly released by either party to verify the DNA test claims, and no court proceedings have been announced.
Legal experts note that paternity disputes involving minors are typically resolved privately or through the courts, and caution against relying solely on social media claims in the absence of verified evidence.
