The police in Lagos have arrested three suspects in the murder of an officer of the state’s Neighbourhood Safety Corps, Moshood Bolaji.
Bolaji was reportedly killed by suspected cultists at Aguda area of Surulere about 9.30pm on Wednesday.
Lagos State police commissioner, Mr. Edgal Imohimi, disclosed the suspects’ arrest during a condolence visit to the leadership of the LNSC today.
Imohimi said preliminary investigation revealed that the attack was carried out by a five-man gang at a popular bar in the area.
The police boss said men of the Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad (FSARS) and the state command’s Anti Cultism Squad were on the trail of other members of the gang and promised they would all be brought to justice.
Imohimi also visited the family of the slain officer to commiserate with them.
