22 More Staff Test Positive for COVID-19 in Oyo Company

The Oyo State government has confirmed 22 more COVID-19 cases from iSON Xperiences in Ibadan, between Thursday and yesterday.

Governor Seyi Makinde made the disclosure via his Twitter handle, yesterday.

The number of cases from iSON Xperiences is now 174 while the total number of confirmed cases in the state had risen to 282 with six fatalities.

The governor further disclosed that 21 persons were discharged within the same period, which brought the number of COVID-19 patients who have recovered in the state to 96.

Makinde tweeted, “Twenty-one confirmed COVID-19 patients have received their second NEGATIVE test results and have been discharged in the past three days. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to ninety-six.

“Also, the COVID-19 confirmation tests for the following cases came back POSITIVE:
May 28–10 cases, all from iSON Xperiences; May 29– 15 cases, 10 from iSON Xperiences and May 30– 5 cases, 2 from iSON Xperiences. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State is 282.”
