Updated: Owner, Others Feared Trapped as 21-Storey Building Collapses in Lagos

The owner of a 21-storey building, which collapsed in Ikoyi, Lagos today is reportedly among those trapped in the rubble.

The owner, identified simply Femi, was reportedly on a visit to the site of the building when it collapsed.

NewsmakersNG learned that the collapsed structure on Gerard Road was under construction.

It is unclear just how many persons are trapped under the rubble, but NewsmakersNG learned that a few construction workers have been rescued and taken to the hospital.
