20 INEC Officials Missing in Katsina as Violence Claims 2 Lives

The spiraling orgy of violence in today’s governorship and state House of Assembly elections nationwide reportedly recorded two more deaths in Katsina State, where 20 electoral officials were also declared missing.

Sources at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said 10 of the officials allegedly abducted at Danmusa area of the state were found.

The dead victims were identified as a policeman and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) official and were killed at Danmusa and Kankara local government areas of the state respectively.

The incident allegedly occurred while the election was in progress.
