2 Killed in Ex-Gov Alao-Akala’s Residence Fire

Two persons lost their lives in a fire incident at the Ogbomoso residence of former governor of Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala.

Newsmakerslive.org gathered that the residence, located in Randa area of Ogbomoso, was razed by fire this morning.

The fire, which started around 7.30am, was attributed to a power surge.

One of the victims reportedly died on the spot, while the other gave up the ghost at Bowen Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso.

The extent of the damage to the building could not yet be ascertained.
