19-year-old Wife Stabs Husband to Death in Lagos

A 19-year-old woman, Mary Adeniyi, allegedly stabbed her 30-year-old husband to death with a knife on Friday in Ikorodu, Lagos after he accused her of infidelity.

The suspect, who has a four-month-old child for the deceased, Solomon Nduka, is being detained at the State Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department (SCIID) Panti, Yaba.

NewsmakersNG learnt that an argument between the couple at their Sagamu Road, Ikorodu residence over the suspect’s infidelity had degenerated into a scuffle during which she allegedly stabbed the deceased in the neck.

Solomon was reportedly confirmed dead at the hospital he was taken to by neighbours.

Police have confirmed the incident but said investigation was ongoing.
